Cardholder Dispute

A cardholder dispute is a process in which the cardholder declares that the debiting of his account is illegal and demands a chargeback of the payment, which can be satisfied by the issuing bank. Disputes with cardholders should only be filed in cases of genuine fraud or where the merchant has not fulfilled their end of the purchase agreement and refuses to provide a refund.
